GT3 LEGENDS

GT3 Legends is a cooperative effort between Motor Racing Legends and Jarrah Venables. The series caters for the early period of GT3, and will lead the charge celebrating the category’s 20th birthday in 2026.

Entry is open to all GT3 cars homologated by the FIA between 2006 and 2012, with updates permitted up to 2015. Cars race with Balance of Performance to ensure equality of competition.

Launched by Stéphane Ratel and his SRO organisation in 2006, the GT3 category has grown into the most successful GT formula in modern motorsport. Since its inception, GT3 has expanded globally, featuring in numerous national and international championships as well as headline events like the Spa 24 Hours and Bathurst 12 Hours.

Part of its enduring appeal lies in the rich variety of shapes, sounds, and iconic marques it brings together. Icons like the BMW Z4, Ferrari 458 and Audi R8 LMS highlight entry lists. In its early years, GT3 cars remained closely linked to their road-going counterparts. Over time, they evolved significantly, gaining advanced aerodynamics, improved suspension, and upgraded brakes while maintaining accessibility and placing strong emphasis on racing spectacle.
