Motor Racing Legends heads to Castle Combe with its Generations Trophy grid, a great opportunity for families to experience a circuit that remains as challenging as it was in its heyday.

As with many British circuits, Castle Combe began as an RAF airfield in World War II, its perimeter road later becoming the foundation of the race track. The circuit’s early years saw victories from rising stars like Stirling Moss, Mike Hawthorn and Colin Chapman, and even featured a Formula One win by Harry Schell in 1955.

Through the 1970s and ’80s it grew into a beloved home for club racing, known for its fast, unchanged layout and thriving local championships. In the late 1990s, safety upgrades and new chicanes modernised the track, paving the way for high-profile series such as Formula 3 and British GT.

Fast and flowing, Castle Combe shares its DNA with Goodwood and Thruxton, offering a pure, old-school racing experience on a layout virtually unchanged since its post-war origins.
