Friday 17th October offered a chance to fettle cars for the final race weekend of the season, on the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit. Split into fast and slow groups and with an hour’s dedicated running just for Pre-War Sports Cars, there was a strong take up on entries and plenty of good work done across the paddock. It was also the first chance for a number of pairings in the Generations Trophy to get used to their MGBs, and to their team-mates, including Richard and daughter Izzy Hammond, racing together for the first time.
