By submitting an entry through the Motor Racing Legends app or web portal, you agree to the following terms: 

Your Confirmation: 

• You have been given the opportunity to read the relevant Motor Racing Legends, FIA, and Motorsport UK regulations and agree to be bound by them 

• You are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and competent to do so 

• You understand the nature and type of competition and the potential risks inherent with motorsport 

• You possess (or each driver possesses) the standard of competence and necessary licences for this type of event 

• The vehicle entered is suitable and roadworthy for the event 

• You will comply with the MRL Code of Racing Ethics 

If you have any disability (permanent or temporary) that may affect your control of the vehicle, you must declare it to the ASN. You may only participate if the ASN has issued a license permitting you to do so. 

Medical requirements: You must have passed or be exempt from an ASN specified medical examination within the required period. 

Understanding the Risks: You acknowledge that motorsport can be dangerous and that accidents causing death, injury, disability, and property damage can and do happen. You understand these risks may result in personal injury or other loss, and you accept these risks. 

Limitation of Liability: Neither Motor Racing Legends, FIA, Motorsport UK, the organisers, track owners, promoters, nor their respective officers, servants, representatives, and agents shall have liability for loss or damage you may sustain as a result of participating in the event. This includes damage to property, economic loss, consequential loss, or financial loss. Note: Nothing in this clause excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury. 

Your Indemnity: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless each of the above parties in respect of any loss or damage arising from your participation. 

Payment and Eligibility Verification: 

• Upon submission, your entry fee will be held pending verification of eligibility according to Motor Racing Legends, FIA, and Motorsport UK regulations 

• If your entry is found ineligible, the payment will be reversed and refunded according to the Refund Policy below 

• Submission and payment do not guarantee acceptance into the event 

• We reserve the right to refuse any application without justification 

Entry Consideration: 

• An entry will be considered from its date of submission on the app or web portal 

• Entries are selected subject to eligibility of car and driver 

• If a race is oversubscribed, a reserve list will be created with priority given to MRL Club Members 

• Preference is given to those entering all races and MRL Club Members 

• Single race entries may not be confirmed until four weeks prior to the event 

Entry Fees and Payment 

• Entry fees (per car) should be paid in full at the time of submission.  For entries that have been invoiced, all fees must be paid at least 21 days prior to an event 

• Entries will not be accepted until full payment is received 

• Entries close once all places on each grid are filled 

• Acceptance will be notified for each race at the earliest opportunity 

MRL will offer a discounted season entry fee to MRL Club Members who wish to commit to a full season racing for a specific grid.  Season grid entry fees will only be available for a restricted time period. 

No refund is available for a Season Entry Fee.  

If you withdraw your entry: 

• 21 days before the event start date: Full refund less 5% administration fee, or held on account for a period of 18 months from date of cancellation 

• 14 days before event start date: 50% held on account (no refund available) 

• 5 days or less before event start date: No refund and not held on account 

Important: Once an entry has been accepted, refunds are only given at Motor Racing Legends’ discretion and according to the terms above. No refunds will be given if COVID restrictions cause cancellation of a meeting. 

No refund or credit is available for a MRL Club Membership fees. 

Event Changes and Cancellation by Organisers: Motor Racing Legends reserves the right to make necessary changes to the competition or cancel the event or individual competitions due to: 

• Force majeure 

• Safety reasons 

• Orders from authorities 

• Extraordinary circumstances 

In such cases, no refunds of entry fees will be provided. Withdrawal of administrative authorisation or suspension by sports or administrative authorities is considered force majeure, and entries will not be refunded. 

Information We Collect and Store: 

• Personal data you provide (entry forms, enquiries, attendance information) 

• Personal data we collect about you (race entry history, payment information) 

• Race car and entry details 

• Event media (photos, videos, live streams) 

How We Use Your Information: 

• Your name, driver name(s), and car details will be shared with event organisers for race management 

• This information will be included in publicly available entry lists and results 

• We and other event organisers may film, photograph, or live stream you at events 

• These images or recordings may be used in print, online, or social media for event coverage, promotion, or marketing 

• Motor Racing Legends may update, amend, or modify your data as necessary for event management, communication, and service improvement 

Data Retention: Your information will be kept for the duration of the event and for three years afterwards.
