Intense competition at a different speed: The Quiz

In association with Joe Macari, Motor Racing Legends is inviting the paddock community to join us on Friday 22nd August and take on the Ace Car Quiz.

Held each December at the Joe Macari showroom and for the first time taking place at a race event, the Ace Car Quiz is famous for tailoring a night of motorsport and automotive trivia to keep the brain cells ticking. What better way to roll into a weekend of competition on track, than with tough competition off it? Teams of six will compete for the honour of taking home the trophy, and all-important paddock bragging rights.

Teams of up to six people can take on the famous Ace Car Quiz, with all proceeds going to the halow project. 100% of your £250 per team entry fee will go to this worthy cause, whilst Motor Racing Legends will be providing drinks and nibbles throughout. Individuals or groups of fewer than six are still encouraged to enter, and those that wish to will be drafted into teams on the night.

The halow project was suggested as the beneficiary of donations from the evening by Richard Meins, a familiar face in historic racing paddocks and patron of the charity. Supporting young adults with autism and learning disabilities, halow works across Surrey, giving those it works with the tools to live a life of purpose. Each year, the project supports over 250 young people, and a wider circle of more than 750 family members, friends and carers.

The evening will start with drinks from 18:30, and the first round begins at 19:30. We’ll have a half-hour break midway through, with the quiz finishing around 22:00.
