Better Paddock Facilities at Motor Racing Legends Events for 2025
As part of our efforts to make every aspect of Motor Racing Legends a memorable experience for entrants and fans, we’re rolling out better paddock facilities in 2025.
Starting at Donington Historic Festival from 2nd – 4th May, every entrant will have their own tent in the paddock, adjacent to the fellow racers on their grid, giving everyone a dedicated space to work and protected from the elements.
Series tents are a great way to foster community amongst members, preparers and racers, and it’ll make the cars, and everything that makes them exceptional, more visible for fans to enjoy.
The tents will all have their own power supply, and there will also be a dedicated, 24-hour security presence throughout the race weekend.
“We want to foster community amongst our racers,” says Pierre-Antoine Lecoutour, CEO of Motor Racing Legends. “Gathering together with the peers you’re racing helps to spark conversation and creates a more welcoming atmosphere for seasoned veterans and newcomers alike. On top of that, these tent villages give spectators a better opportunity to enjoy the fantastic cars in our paddock. From a technical aspect, making sure every entrant has a power supply also removes further equipment and helps to declutter the paddock, which is safer, and better aesthetically.”
To help in creating an easier-to-navigate and more organised space at DHF, support vehicles must be parked outside the paddock once unloading is complete. GT3 Legends entrants, based in the pitlane, will be permitted to park their trucks behind the garages.
