Le Donington Historique Festival lan\u00e7ait ce week-end la saison de Motor Racing Legends. Parmi les moments forts du week-end, nous retiendrons notamment la course du Generations Trophy, qui a r\u00e9uni 37 familles et une bonne quinzaine de pilotes totalement d\u00e9butants. Pas mal pour une s\u00e9rie lanc\u00e9e en octobre dernier !<\/p>\n

Du monde, il y en avait aussi dans la Pall Mall Cup, avec 40 voitures au d\u00e9part et dix marques repr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par des mod\u00e8les iconiques : Aston Martin DB4 GT, Ford Falcon, Lotus Elan 26R, Shelby Cobra 289, Porsche 911, etc. Cette course d\u2019Endurance de deux heures, disput\u00e9e samedi soir au cr\u00e9puscule, a \u00e9t\u00e9 remport\u00e9e par Lukas Halusa et Alex Ames au volant de l\u2019extraordinaire Jaguar E Type Lightweight Low Drag (49 FXN), l\u2019une des 12 produites \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9poque.<\/p>\n

Parmi les autres voitures d\u2019exception pr\u00e9sentes ce week-end, citons notamment la Maserati 8C 3000 de 1932 (Pre-War Sports Cars), la Ferrari Breadvan de 1962 (HMRN Pre \u201963 GT), ou encore la Jaguar XJS de 1984 (Historic Touring Car Challenge). Il y avait \u00e9galement des Formule 1 en comp\u00e9tition et en d\u00e9monstration, de la mythique Ferrari 246 Dino de 1960 \u00e0 l\u2019exotique Footwork FA13 de 1992.<\/p>\n

Nous voulons encourager la transmission de la passion. C\u2019est dans ce but \u00e9galement que notre hospitalit\u00e9 reste ouverte du matin au soir. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 sp\u00e9cialement pens\u00e9e pour l\u2019accueil des enfants et des accompagnants, qui peuvent se divertir tout en suivant les courses de leurs proches sur un grand \u00e9cran. La saison de Motor Racing Legends se poursuivra dans six semaines, les 19, 20 et 21 juin, avec la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition du London Historic Trophy sur le circuit de Brands Hatch. Cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement marquera le lancement d\u2019une nouvelle s\u00e9rie : le 2 Litre Sportscars.<\/p>\n
