Suite \u00e0 la r\u00e9union d’introduction tenue au Royal Automobile Club de Londres mi-janvier, les deux premi\u00e8res sessions sp\u00e9cifiques du Groupe de Travail Technique \u2014 d\u00e9di\u00e9es aux Pre-War Sports Cars (Voitures de sport d’avant-guerre) ainsi qu’aux GT et voitures de Tourisme pr\u00e9-63 & pr\u00e9-66 \u2014 ont eu lieu ces dix derniers jours. GROUPE DE TRAVAIL TECHNIQUE : PRE-WAR SPORTS CARS<\/span><\/h1>\n

Pour les voitures de sport d’avant-guerre, les discussions se sont concentr\u00e9es sur l’introduction d’un syst\u00e8me de classement bas\u00e9 sur un Indice de Performance, afin de compl\u00e9ter le traditionnel classement scratch.<\/p>\n

Cela permettrait un regroupement plus \u00e9quitable au sein d’un plateau de voitures tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9es, comblant les \u00e9carts de performance inh\u00e9rents \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode de rapide \u00e9volution technique. Conform\u00e9ment aux objectifs du Groupe de Travail, nous pr\u00e9parons actuellement une premi\u00e8re simulation pour Donington en mai ; les d\u00e9tails seront partag\u00e9s avec les concurrents pendant et apr\u00e8s le week-end de course.<\/p>\n

REGLEMENTS SPORTIFS ET TECHNIQUES<\/span><\/h1>\n

Un ensemble complet de r\u00e8glements sportifs et techniques a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9dig\u00e9 pour tous les plateaux de Motor Racing Legends pour la saison \u00e0 venir. Vous verrez de nouveaux visages rejoindre l’\u00e9quipe tout au long de la saison, car notre objectif est de maintenir un groupe \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 de sp\u00e9cialistes \u00e0 travers les s\u00e9ries pour superviser efficacement les questions de conformit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

EN ATTENDANT DONINGTON HISTORIC FESTIVAL<\/span><\/h1>\n

\u00c0 l’approche de Donington, nous avons h\u00e2te de mettre en \u0153uvre ce travail et de poursuivre les \u00e9changes. Les prochains groupes de travail se pencheront bient\u00f4t sur les plateaux de voitures de sport des ann\u00e9es 1950 (Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy et Stirling Moss Trophy) ainsi que sur les voitures de tourisme plus r\u00e9centes des ann\u00e9es 80 et 90 \u00e9ligibles au Historic Touring Car Challenge.<\/p>\n

Nous sommes conscients que ces sessions se tiendront tr\u00e8s proche du d\u00e9but de la saison. Par cons\u00e9quent, nous n’avons pas l’intention d’apporter des changements techniques \u00e0 ce stade, mais nous souhaitons plut\u00f4t soulever et discuter de certaines id\u00e9es et initiatives qui pourraient \u00eatre adopt\u00e9es au fil du temps.<\/p>\n

Comme nous l’avons soulign\u00e9 lors de toutes les sessions, la mise en \u0153uvre de tout changement dans les r\u00e8glements techniques MRL sera faite de mani\u00e8re \u00e0 tenir compte des contraintes pratiques que les concurrents et pr\u00e9parateurs pourraient rencontrer. Notre objectif est toujours de maintenir un maximum de voitures en piste, tout en essayant de ma\u00eetriser la hausse constante des co\u00fbts.<\/p>\n
