Les circuits centenaires encore en activit\u00e9 sont tr\u00e8s rares dans le monde. Motor Racing Legends tient \u00e0 c\u00e9l\u00e9brer ce cap franchi en 2026 par Brands Hatch, en lan\u00e7ant le London Historic Trophy<\/a>, dont la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition se d\u00e9roulera du 19 au 21 juin 2026. Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des Troph\u00e9es d\u2019Auvergne de Charade et du Donington Historic Festival, ce meeting constituera l\u2019un des trois piliers de la saison de Motor Racing Legends.<\/p>\n

Le programme du London Historic Trophy inclura dix plateaux de courses, couvrant une longue p\u00e9riode allant des ann\u00e9es 1920 aux ann\u00e9es 1990, ainsi que des d\u00e9monstrations et des expositions.<\/p>\n

Rendez-vous r\u00e9gulier de la Formule 1 dans les ann\u00e9es 1960, 1970 et 1980, Brands Hatch fut aussi le th\u00e9\u00e2tre de batailles \u00e9piques en endurance. Les spectaculaires Group C, qui attiraient des foules immenses dans les ann\u00e9es 1980, seront c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9es lors de d\u00e9monstrations impressionnantes, tandis que les deux courses de Sportscars 2 litres rappelleront les plus glorieuses \u00e9ditions des 1 000 kilom\u00e8tres de Brands Hatch.<\/p>\n

Le BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) ne sera pas en reste, avec les deux courses d\u2019Historic Touring Car Challenge, qui opposeront des ic\u00f4nes des ann\u00e9es 1980 comme la Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 et la BMW M3 E30. Le Top Hat rendra lui hommage aux \u00ab saloon cars \u00bb des ann\u00e9es 1960 comme les Ford Cortina ou les Mini Cooper, tandis que le Gerry Marshall Trophy r\u00e9unira les \u00ab muscle cars \u00bb des ann\u00e9es 1970, comme la Rover SD1 ou la Ford Capri.<\/p>\n

Certains des plus beaux sport-prototypes jamais construits seront en piste, \u00e0 l\u2019image de la Jaguar C-Type du Royal Automobile Club Woodcote Trophy (pr\u00e9-1956), ou de la Lister Knobbly dans le Stirling Moss Trophy (pr\u00e9-1961).<\/p>\n

Le nouveau plateau de Motor Racing Legends, Pre-\u201966 GT Sprint, fera ses d\u00e9buts \u00e0 l\u2019occasion d\u2019une course de 60 minutes r\u00e9serv\u00e9e aux Grand Tourisme, accompagn\u00e9es de prototypes de la fin des ann\u00e9es 1950. Le plateau Pre-War Sports Cars apportera quant \u00e0 lui sa touche vintage, avec des machines d\u2019avant-guerre des marques prestigieuses comme Bentley, Bugatti ou encore Frazer-Nash.<\/p>\n
