Motor Racing Legends first to sign up to Historic Motorsport International Show 23-26 Feb 2017

Race organisers Motor Racing Legends, is one of the first to sign up for a brand new London based show; the Historic Motorsport International due to open at ExCel London from 23-26 February 2017. The show will run alongside the already popular London Classic Car Show now in its third year, offering visitors the chance to visit both shows on one ticket.

Brand Events are the promoters who announced the new show last week, the company already host a number of successful motoring events including CarFest, Top Gear Live and the London Classic Car show and their new IGNITION Festival of Motoring.
 
Historic Motorsport International aims to provide a platform for engineering and preparation experts, event organisers, promoters and suppliers reflecting the UK’s leading role in the world of historic motorsport and rallying. The show will also include a Historic Motorsport Conference, hosted by broadcaster Henry Hope-Frost.
 
Motor Racing Legends joins a number of other high-profile companies and organisations who have already jumped at the opportunity to exhibit including competition car sales specialists Taylor & Crawley and Duncan Hamilton & Co; the official distributor for Dunlop historic racing tyres; Dunlop Motorsport and Motorsport publishers; Octane and Historic Racing Technology.

Motor Racing Legends club chairman Duncan Wiltshire commented “Establishing a London based premium Historic Motorsport Show is long overdue in my opinion, and running it alongside the already successful London Classic Car Show will offer a perfect opportunity to showcase the wonderful range of Classic Motorsport options to a fresh audience of classic car enthusiasts. We are looking forward to seeing how the show develops.”

Show director Ian France commented “Whether your interest is in the many fiercely competitive UK domestic championships or marquee events such as Silverstone Classic, Spa Six Hours or the Historic Ypres Rally, this exciting new event will reflect your tastes and opportunities to get closer to the sport.”

The HMI show will be held at ExCeL London, on 23-26 February, with access to both shows included in the entry price which starts at £24 (advance ticket price or £27 on the door.) Historic Motorsport International will open its doors at 10am on Thursday 23 February, while the London Classic Car Show will start at 3pm that afternoon.
